Campcraft 

Campcraft is another significant aspect of NPCC, through campcraft, cadets learn how to tie basic knots and lashings in outdoor situations or when usually convenience items (such as zipper, tapes, super gules and safety pins) are not available or in outdoor survival situations. Together with this knowledge, they are able to learn how to erect flagstaffs among various other contraptions allowing them to apply their knowledge of campcraft to effectively honed their critical problem-solving and decision-making skills.  

Through campcraft, cadets can also learn effective communication within a team and learn to work together with other people, building a foundation for their interpersonal skills in the future.   

Other than knots and lashing, cadets can also expect to learn 

• Shelter Building and

• Pioneering 

which helps to develop their creativity skills among other skills involved.
